Africa E-Mobility Week & Forum 2026 brings together policymakers, investors, innovators, manufacturers, development partners, cities and mobility stakeholders working to accelerate Africa’s transition to clean and electric transport.
AEW2026 provides a focused platform for policy dialogue, investment engagement, technical exchange, market partnerships and implementation-focused action across Africa’s electric-mobility ecosystem.
Forum activities will take place at Nooitgedacht Estate in Stellenbosch on 28 and 29 September 2026.
Industry Tours will take place on 30 September 2026. The final itinerary, meeting point, timings and participant instructions will be sent directly to registered Industry Tour participants once confirmed.
Nooitgedacht Estate

The AEW2026 Forum will take place at Nooitgedacht Estate on 28 and 29 September 2026.
Nooitgedacht Estate is a historic Cape Dutch estate in the Stellenbosch Winelands. Its heritage dates to 1774, and the estate is set among mature oak trees, landscaped grounds, vineyards and the mountain scenery of the Cape Winelands.
The venue is outside central Stellenbosch, so attendees should plan their transport before the event.
Please note: Nooitgedacht Estate is the venue for the Forum on 28 and 29 September. The Industry Tours on 30 September will take place at separate locations, and participant instructions will be communicated directly when the itinerary is finalised.

Nooitgedacht Estate is located on the R304 in Koelenhof, outside central Stellenbosch. Attendees are encouraged to plan and pre-book their transport before travelling to the Forum.
Approximate Travel Times:
From Cape Town International Airport: Approximately 35–45 minutes in normal traffic.
From central Stellenbosch: Approximately 10–15 minutes.
From Cape Town city centre: Approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic.
Note: Please allow additional travel time during weekday morning and afternoon peak periods.

Weather: September is early spring in Stellenbosch. Expect changeable conditions, cool mornings/evenings, milder afternoons, and possible rain. We recommend packing light layers, a sweater/jacket, comfortable shoes, and sun protection.
Currency & Payments: South African Rand (ZAR). Credit/debit cards are widely accepted. Carry a small amount of cash for minor incidentals.
Electricity & Adapters: 220/230-volt, 50-hertz electricity. Sockets use large round pins (Type M). Please bring a South Africa-compatible travel adapter.
